Items We Accept at Tip Savers

We accept a wide range of items of varying ages and conditions, working or non-working. Below is a broad list of what we may collect and pay cash for. 

Note: If you don’t see your item listed, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to discuss!

Electronics

We accept almost all types of electronics, including:

  • Audio Equipment: Speakers, soundbars, subwoofers, amplifiers, stereo receivers, AV receivers, tuners, radios, CD players, turntables, tape decks, reel-to-reels, digital audio players, and more.
  • Video Games and Consoles: Video game consoles and handhelds, carts and discs.  
  • Home Media Players: VHS players (VCRs), DVD players, Blu-ray players, and more.
  • Televisions: CRT TVs, LED, OLED, Smart TVs—working or non-working.
  • Camera Equipment: Digital cameras, lenses, camcorders, tripods, and accessories.

Lighting

Whether it’s vintage or modern, we accept a variety of lighting fixtures:

  • Ceiling Lights: Chandeliers, pendant lights, flush and semi-flush mount lights.
  • Wall Lights: Sconces, picture lights, and swing-arm lights.
  • Table and Floor Lamps: Desk lamps, bedside lamps, floor lamps, and torchiere lamps.
  • Lampshades: Antique or unusual lampshades that can be reworked or repurposed.

Furniture

We accept both modern and old furniture, including:

  • Antique Furniture: Any and all kinds from varying eras.
  • Tables: Coffee tables, end tables, console tables, and nesting tables.
  • Storage: Storage benches, cabinets, and other space-saving solutions.
  • Patio and Garden Furniture: Chairs, tables, loungers, and outdoor storage units.
  • Mirrors and Decorative Mirrors: Full-length mirrors, framed mirrors, and decorative accent mirrors.

Home Decor and Art

  • Paintings: Original artworks and prints, vintage or modern.
  • Ceramics and Pottery: Vintage ceramics, pottery, vases, and decorative pieces.
  • Glassware: Antique, vintage, or retro glassware, including drinking glasses and decorative items.
  • Brassware: Brass decor, kitchenware such as brass valves and faucets, candlesticks, candle holders, sculptures and other decorative pieces.
  • Clocks: Alarm clocks, wall clocks and mantel clocks.
  • Sculptures and Figurines: Porcelain, ceramic, or metal sculptures and figurines.
  • Rugs: Handwoven or antique rugs in good condition.

Misc

We accept a variety of other items that may not fit neatly into the categories above:

  • Musical Instruments: Guitars, violins, keyboards, drums, or any instruments in need of a little repair.
  • Vintage Toys: Action figures, dolls, board games, and toy cars from past decades.
  • Bicycles: Used bicycles, especially vintage models, or those in need of refurbishment.
  • Tools: Hand tools, power tools, and equipment—particularly if they are antique or in high demand.
  • Camping and Outdoor Gear: Tents, sleeping bags, backpacks, and camping stoves.
  • Other Miscellaneous Items: If you have something unique, don’t hesitate to reach out to see if we can accept it!

Items We Don't Accept

While we’d love to accept everything, we have limited storage space and cannot take certain items, including:

  • Sofas
  • Beds, Mattresses and Bed Frames
  • Large White Goods: Dishwashers, washing machines, tumble dryers, fridges, freezers, ovens and stoves.
  • Large Furniture Items
  • Hazardous Materials: Chemicals, paint, asbestos, fuel, oil, or pressurised gas canisters

Additional Information

  • We accept both working and non-working items as long as they can be repaired, repurposed, or recycled.
  • Items we pay for should at least be in fair condition—we aim to save items from landfill and give them a second life!
